   Follow these simple step-by-step instructions to unlock your cell phone...

 


Blackberry

8100 Pearl Series:
  1. Insert accepted (carrier) SIM card
  2. Power on the handset (wireless option should be off)
  3. Scroll to Options and press the trackball
  4. Select Advanced Options
  5. Scroll to SIM Card and press the trackball
  6. Type MEPPD (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
  7. Type "MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
  8. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the unlockcode and press in the trackball / jog dial to confirm
  9. Press the Enter Key. Rebooting the device is always a good idea.
8220 Pearl (flip):
  1. Scroll to and select the Manage Connections icon
  2. Select Turn All Connections Off
  3. Press the red End key
  4. Scroll to and select the Settings icon
  5. Scroll to and select the Options icon
  6. Scroll to and select Advanced Options
  7. Scroll to and select SIM Card
  8. Enter MEPPD Note: When Typing in MEPPD the letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device
  9. Enter MEPP2 Note: When Typing in MEPP2 the letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the Enter Network MEP code box
  10. Enter the Unlock code
  11. Press the Trackball or Enter key (once one of these keys is pressed the device should display "Code Accepted!")
7000 / 7200 / 8300 / 8700 / 8800 / 8900 Series
  1. Insert accepted (carrier) SIM card
  2. Power on the handset (wireless option should be off)
  3. Scroll to Options and press the trackball
  4. Select Advanced Options
  5. Scroll to SIM Card and press the trackball
  6. Type MEPD (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
  7. Type MEP2 (2 is alt + E). 
  8. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". 
  9. Type in the unlockcode we provided and confirm that your unlock code is correct.
  10. Press down on the trackball or Enter Key button

"Code Accepted!"

 

9000 9700 Bold
  1. Insert accepted (carrier) SIM card
  2. Power on the handset (wireless option should be off)
  3. Scroll to Options and press the trackball (trackpad)
  4. Select Advanced Options
  5. Scroll to SIM Card and press the trackball (trackpad)
  6. Type MEPD (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
  7. Type MEP2 (2 is alt + E)
  8. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". 
  9. Type in the unlockcode we provided and confirm that your unlock code is correct.
  10. Press down on the trackball or Enter Key button 

"Code Accepted!"

 

9530 Storm / 9550 Storm2 / 9630 Tour

  1. Insert any SIM card
  2. Power on the handset (wireless option should be off)
  3. Turn off all wireless connections (Options > Manage Connections)
  4. Select Advanced Options
  5. Select SIM Card
  6. Select Menu to show keyboard
  7. Type mepd (you will not see what you are typing)
  8. Type mep2 ('2' is ALT + E)
  9. A pop-up window will appear: “Enter Network MEP Code (10 left)”
  10. Enter the unlockcode and press Enter
  11. "Code Accepted!" will be displayed
  12. Turn on data and wireless connections

The phone is now permanently unlocked and ready to use on any GSM network, Worldwide!

NOTE:1.  * After unlocking your phone, please make sure your handset is set to “GSM”. Go to Options > Mobile Networks > Network Mode: GSM/UMTS2.  ** Make sure all your mobile connections are on. - Options > Manage Connections > Turn on Mobile Connections 

HTC

Most Models
1.     Power on your handset with a NON-ACCEPTED SIM
2.     Handset will prompt for a Subsidy Unlock Code entry request
3.     Enter unlockcode provided

SNAP / Touch Pro2 / Hero 

1.     Power on your handset with a NON-ACCEPTED SIM
2.     Select "OK" at the bottom of the screen
3.     Select "Settings"
4.     Select "All Settings"
5.     Select "Security"
6.     Enter the Unlock code. 
7.     Press "Ok" 

 


LG

General help: Notice that many new lg phone code is 2945#*modelnumber# or modelnumber1#

Examples    ke970 = 2945#*9701#         KE260 = 2945#*2601#         Ku990 = 2945#*990#

This will help you find the code to allow unlock code entry in your model if not listed here.


LG CU400 / CU500  
1.         Power on the handset with non-accepted (foreign) SIM card
2.         The handset will display "Invalid SmartChip"
3.         In Idle screen, enter 159753#*#.
4.         Phone will display "Enter NCK, Remaining 5"
5.         Enter the 8 digit SIM unlockcode and select OK 
 
LG VU CU915 & CU920 
1.         Put a AT&T or Cingular SIM in the phone; it does not have to be an active SIM
2.         Enter *#865625# then the 16 digit unlock code
3.         Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
4.         Phone may automatically reboot and is now unlocked!
 
LG TG800 Chocolate 
1.         Power on the handset with accepted SIM card
2.         With the phone in standby, enter 2945#*7101# (this will activate the extra menu)
3.         Select Settings
4.         Select Security
5.         Select SIM Locks
6.         Select Service Provider (Network)
7.         Select Deactivate (this is where you we enter the unlockcode) 
 
LG Shine Series Phones (CU720, TU720, KE970, KE770, etc) 
1.         Power on the handset with accepted SIM card
2.         The handset will display "Invalid SmartChip" 
3.         In Idle screen, enter *#865625#unlockcode
 
LG Neon TE365 (Not intended for Rogers)
1.    Power on your handset with a non-accepted SIM card
2.    Your LG Neon will display "phone restricted"
3.    Select Cancel
4.    Your LG Neon will display "phone restriction code"
5.    Enter the UNLOCKCODE we provided.
6.    Select OK. 
7.    Your LG Neon is now unlocked!
 
 
or enter *#0001# to access the unlocking menu
 
 
LG GR500 (Xenon) 
1.             Insert not-allowed SIM card
2.             Power on the handset- phone will display "phone restricted"
3.             Select "Cancel" - phone will display "phone restriction code"
4.             Enter the SIM unlock code
5.             Select "OK" - the handset is now successfully unlocked

Motorola

  1. Insert non-accepted (foreign) SIM card
  2. Power on the handset
  3. If the display reads "Enter Subsidy Code", enter the unlockcode provided and press OK.

Nokia

 

NOTE:  

Your code sequence should look like this:

#PW+unlockcode+7#  (E71 and N95 phones use "+1" instead of "+7")

  1. Power on the handset WITHOUT a SIM card
  2. Press the # key once
  3. Press the * key three times (will display a "P" - if your phone has a keypad just type the letter)
  4. Press the * key four times (will display a "W" - if your phone has a keypad just type the letter)
  5. Press the * key two times (will display a "+" sign - if your phone has a keypad just type +)
  6. Enter the unlockcode
  7. Press the * key two times (will display a "+" sign - if your phone has a keypad just type +
  8. Press the 7 key
  9. Press the # key one time The handset is now successfully unlocked and may display "SIM Restriction Off"
  10. Your phone should now show "SIM Restriction Off" and is now unlocked and ready to use on any GSM network, Worldwide! ***

 

* If your code is rejected, SUBSTITUTE THE 7 WITH A 1 (for E71, E71x and N95 users).

So, it should read:  #PW+unlockcode+1#


Palm

1.     Palm Treo 650 / 680
2.     Insert non-accepted (foreign) SIM card
3.     Power on handset
4.     Enter *#*#unlockcode# and hit send.
 
Treo 600 / 650 
1.     Power on phone with a non-accepted sim inserted. 
2.     When phone is powered up dial any number, it will ask you if you want to turn phone on, click yes. 
3.     It will say "your phone cannot be used with this SIM card" click ok. 
4.     It will say "Network Search" click cancel. 
5.     Using the dial pad do the following: enter *#*#code# then press dial on the screen. 
6.     It will say the sim lock has been removed from your phone. 
 
Treo 680 or Centro:
1.     Power on handset with a non-accept SIM card
2.     It will then say "Your phone cannot be used with this SIM card"
3.     Click OK
4.     Click dialpad tab, bottom of the screen far left
5.     Using stylus type *#*#code#
6.     Press the green button
7.     It will then say "The SIM Lock has been removed from the phone"
 
Congratulations! Your phone is now unlocked 
 
Note: 
When you turn on your phone and it asks for an unlock code, that is the handset's security password, not the unlockcode which we provided.

Samsung

Locked to Rogers
1.     Power on without sim, you will then get a message saying "SIM Failure" at the top of the screen.
2.     Click "Done" then press the green button to get into the dial pad.
3.     Type in #7465625*638*
4.     Then it will display "Enter Network Control Key" this is where you enter the 8 digit unlock code.
5.     Then click ok Your phone is now unlocked 
 
Locked to Fido
1.     Insert SIM that is Accepted (Fido SIM)
2.     Enter #7465625*638*CODE# The unlock code will appear as "-------" as you type them 
3.     Your Phone is now fully unlocked!
 
Samsung BlackJack 
1.     Insert SIM that is accepted
2.     Enter #7465625*638*
3.     Box will popup to Enter Network Control Key
4.     Type in the supplied unlockcode#
5.     Your phone is now fully unlocked!
 
Samsung T809
1.     Power the phone on. 
2.     Enter #7465625*638*UNLOCKCODE# 
 
If you have any other Samsung phone:
 
1.     Switch ON your phone with a not Accepted SIM Card,
2.     Phone will ask for "Password" or "Network Lock"
3.     You can now enter the Unlock Code we sent to you below. 
 
OR 
 
1.     Switch ON your phone with a not Accepted SIM Card,
2.     Compose : #0111*CODE# 
 
OR 
 
1.     Switch ON your phone WITHOUT SIM card,
2.     Compose : #7465625*638*CODE# 
 
OR 
 
1.     Insert unaccepted SIM card into the phone, turn the phone on, it will display "WRONG CARD"
2.     Type *2767*3855# and wait for the phone to reboot
3.     Then type *CODE*638*00000000*00000000#
You will see "Network lock personalized"
4.     Then type #CODE*638*00000000# 
You will see "Network lock deactivated" 
 
OR 
 
1.     Enter #, 0, 1, 1, 1, *, [unlock code], #
2.     Press the SEND key and the display should read, "Personalization Cancelled"
 
NOTE: 
"Not Yet Personalized" will be displayed if it has already been unlocked.
Sometimes it is not necessary to press SEND at the end
Your phone is now unlocked.

Sidekick

  1. Power ON your phone with different SIM Card then the phone is locked to
  2. The phone will prompt for unlock code
  3. Enter UNLOCKCODE provided
  4. Device is now unlocked

 


Siemens

  1. Power ON your phone with a non-accepted (foreign) SIM card
  2. Compose: *#0000*UNLOCKCODE#

 


Sony Ericsson

  1. Power on the handset WITHOUT a SIM card
  2. Display will indicate Insert SIM
  3. Press the left Arrow "<" button
  4. Press the star "*" button twice
  5. Press the left Arrow "<" button again
  6. You will briefly see the message Personalized with MNC2 or Personalized with MNC3
  7. Wait approximately three seconds
  8. The display will indicate Network and a picture of a closed lock
  9. Press Select
  10. The display will indicate Unlock "Net" and NCK:
  11. Enter the 16 digit NLCK4U code and press OK
  12. The handset will display Network unlocked and the display Insert SIM appears

The handset is now permanently unlocked and ready to use on any GSM network, Worldwide!

 


Windows-Based Phones

  1. Insert foreign SIM card
  2. Power on the handset and the display should read “Please input unlockcode”
  3. Enter the unlockcode and the device should display "Phone is unlocked."

Allow the phone to scan the network
